This class offers a fun environment to learn a new language. We will play games while learning new words in Spanish with worksheets from Carsondellosa.com Starter Spanish book. Students will learn colors, shapes, numbers, animals, house structure and furnishings, foods and everyday greetings through interactive activities and play-based learning.
In this first year class we'll learn about the Spanish Language and culture. We will practice reading, play games, and listen to songs to help students feel comfortable learning a new language. Students will become familiar with Spanish words and, with some work, hopefully begin to understand and speak the Spanish language through immersive and engaging activities.
With a prerequisite of a previous Spanish class, we will continue learning and practicing the Spanish language, focusing more on conversational skills and using past, present and future tenses. Students will develop greater fluency through advanced grammar, extended conversations, and cultural exploration.
